At Unitee, protecting your data is our top priority. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Who we are
Unitee is a SaaS solution developed by Droppix SAS, a French company headquartered at 38 rue Dunois 75647 Paris Cedex 13, France. We provide a service that allows you to transform videos, audio files, and documents into concise, shareable, and exportable reports.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the service:
- For individual accounts: Email (required), first name, last name, address, phone number (optional), IP Address
- For company accounts: Company name, address, phone number, email, VAT number
- Usage data: Uploaded content (videos, audios, PDFs, etc.), generated reports and transcriptions, login and service usage information
We never use your data for marketing, advertising, or commercial studies.
3. Purpose of collection
Your data is used solely to:
- Create and authenticate your account
- Handle billing and subscription credits
- Ensure proper functioning of the SaaS (notifications, report generation alerts)
- Generate, store, and allow access to your reports and content
Personal data extracted in reports (names, roles) is used only for generating the reports and is not used for commercial purposes.
4. Storage and hosting
Your content and reports are stored on secure servers in France or the EU (via S3 – Scaleway). Storage duration depends on your subscription: after 1 month without an active subscription, your data on Unitee servers is automatically deleted. For some plans (Enterprise), you may store reports on your own S3 server. Credentials are encrypted on our servers, but the data remains under your sole responsibility.
You may delete your data at any time via the interface, except for legally required invoices.
5. Security
We implement strict technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption of sensitive information (passwords, S3 credentials), servers certified ISO 27001, HDS, and SecNumCloud, and access limited to authorized technical and support teams. Despite these measures, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for your credentials and backups.
6. Data sharing
Your data is never sold or shared for commercial purposes. Content you share with other users remains under your control and is only accessible to designated recipients. Third-party service providers (hosting, payment, AI) may access certain data strictly to perform their contractual tasks and in compliance with regulations.
